A castle made of popsickle sticks... |
|
I was just clicking through channels on my tee-vee and when I crossed MSNBC, what was passing as news at that moment was a castle made of popsickle sticks and the highlight of the story was that it took four gallons of glue to build. But, if that's not ludicrous enought, the popsickle-stick castle story was preceeded by a story about...wait for it...a toilet-themed restaurant somewhere, I think Japan.
One week ago when MSNBC decided Tiger Wood's MIL's tummy ache was worthy of the bells and whistles and flashes and flourishes of a BREAKING NEWS tympani for the entire day, including the rubbernecking addition of Elin Woods' panicked 911 phone call upon her mother's fainting, I decided I'd had enough. And now that what passes for news you can use on MSNBC includes eating flat noodles from a toilet bowl and popsickle stick castles, I realize what a wise decision it was for me to finally axe all tee-vee nooze from my daily media consumption.

1. Not the "Liberal Media" - it's the "Trivial Media", with a whole pocket full of shiny objects |
