I respect the Republicans for their ability to get what they want done - including blocking

I have ZERO respect for Democrats, who couldn't do a damn thing for EIGHT YEARS even when they had control of different houses.

Apparently, the truth is that Republicans are more "efficient" while Democrats are useless.

1. It's easy to be more "efficient" when you don't actually want the process to go through.

Democrats are always going to lose because we're not willing to walk away from the negotiation.

2. Repubs are more efficient because they ALL support the big money interests.

There are a few Democrats that don't. Therefore, you get more unity for Repub legislation, and more votes in Congress from ALL Repubs and SOME Dems (versus what we have now for Dem legislation--NO Repubs, most Dems).

The Republican Party does do a very good job as pushing the conservative agenda. That agenda sucks, but that makes their ability to constantly advance it even more impressive.

Democrats do not represent a liberal agenda. It has devolved into a half-hearted amalgam of conservatism and some vague notion of "social prohressive."

If only the Democrats actually represented liberalism, the US would be in a lot better shape.
