and most likely be a stop-gap sort of thing, I suggest that anyone who cares and wants real reform should make it a point to join/support Physicians for a National Health Program and work towards single payer as THE long term solution we deserve and need.

I also suggest that we lean really hard on the Senators who voted against drug re-importation. There is a real mystery there that needs to be solved. They turned their backs on one element that without question would have lowered drugs costs for the average American. Why did they do it?

2. And that's one reason I'm suggesting working with an organization that exists

not within any party structure. As many have pointed out previously, Movements are outside party boundaries.

Things probably will get worse before they get better with the insane details of the reform being suggested - taxes in advance of implementation, higher co-pays, returns of annual caps(!), mandates, fines, etc. I don't think we'll be able to count on maintaining a Democratic majority.

He's just taking that "make me" stuff way too far, but I'm willing to MAKE HIM.
