As predicted on DU, Rush is using Dean's words as ammo against HCR and Liberalism.
Just heard it during my lunch break and I almost vomited.

I love Dean and respect his opinions, but it's pretty obvious he needs to be a bit more calculated with his blanket criticisms, lest it be used against Liberalism in general by the likes of Limbaugh.

I hate posting this information, but I think it's important. Please don't attack the messenger.

7. He played Dean's soundbites and said..
this is solid proof that HCR, Democrats and Liberalism are evil, and that even "liberals" agree now.

He probably said more, but I couldn't take it so I turned it off.

6. So let's never say anything because Rush could distort it and use it against us
That would lead to complete silence all the time, since Limbaugh's job is to churn out strawmen.

It is insane for any progressive to weigh their words based upon how Rush Limbaugh will distort their statements.

Fuck political correctness.. and trying to spare peoples' feelings. That's part of what's wrong with America, and Americans, today. People are getting too wimped out and can't handle the hard truths of life...

Fuck Rush Limburger, too... I heard he's a drug addicted pedophile

22. Dems would be well advised to pay a lot less attention to the likes of Rush Limbaugh and
a lot more attention to the progressives who are daily fighitng the good fight. What gets your attention gets you. We need to keep honing our message, finding the right tone and more and more confidence in our own ideas. Once the progressive ideas get strong enough, and I think that moment is getting closer every day, they will sweep these tools of corporatism out of the way. Their influence even now is negligible. If they say something that needs rebutting or refuting, then do that, but to pay too much attention to them is an even greater danger IMO than failing to respond to some idiocy or other.

As I write this, some dog is sniffing some piece of dog doo-doo in some park. This will always be true. To waste time on noting the breed of the dog, the texture of the offal, or the name of the park, or the time of day isn't really a good idea.

You're not the 'messenger' for that. That's your opinion, and it's wrong. You can note that the pigfucker Limbaugh is lying again, but saying we have to watch what we say in case pigfuckers use it against us is defeatist.
