In fact, I may start voting entirely on principle, and if there are progressive or liberal challengers going against incumbent Democrats who vote for the HCR bill as it now stands in the Senate, they will get my vote

neglecting the base. He said, very astutely, you don't go courting the independents and Republicans before you secure the base. Well, we all know that Rahm does not believe there is a base. Campaign contributions trump the typical Democratic voter. We know how they got here. Many of us saw it coming and tried to sound the alarm. They knew better than those of outside the beltway and if they fail, it's not on us. I'll keep trying, trying to push the party back to its core principles but I don't think they'll listen any better, now.
