The cause of the health care crisis get bailed out by more guaranteed customers, get to avoid antitrust worries, is not threatened by a public option so no more competition than exists now.
Obama is more mad at the more liberal democrats instead of the blue dog dems who are actually obstructing the bill.
Its a compromise to give republicans everything they want or to remove anything they dont' want without receiving anything in return.
