Palin wears t-shirt "If you don't love America then why don't you get the hell out"
Like a bad memory, Sarah Palin has apparently decided to block out John McCain.

The former GOP vice presidential contender was snapped in Hawaii this week wearing an old McCain for President visor - only she had blacked out the letters of her one-time running mate, leaving just a faint outline of his name.

Much clearer was the message on her T-shirt: "If you don't love America," it read on the front, "then why don't you get the hell out," it advised on the back.

The former Alaska governor was relaxing with her husband and kids in President Obama's home state after a tour for her new best-seller, "Going Rogue," which netted Palin a reported $1.25 million.

2. so I guess Palin is on her way out of America?
because she sure as hell doesn't love America! And she's married to someone who belonged to a party who wants Alaska to secede from the union. "Love America" my butt!

3. And the irony is that many of her followers will think she is vacationing in a foreign country
But... really? Wearing a visor with McCain's name blacked out? She just got off a damned book tour, you'd think she could afford to have a brand new visor made up. Even by trailor park standards, that's trashy. She coulda even just had one of those kids take a seam ripper to pluck out the monogramming!

while slapping McCain.
Geez.
She will always be trashy no matter what she wears.

Edited on Thu Dec-17-09 12:39 AM by Zomby Woof
I wear a t-shirt, precisely because I am so high risk with very fair skin. Saves on sunscreen, and less re-application too. Don't have to worry about missing spots, etc.

That being said, when I wear hats, I stand by their original content, and my t-shirts are plain or at least free of asinine phrases. :-)

20. Palin meant no disrespect with blacked-out hat
Sarah Palin said she meant no disrespect to the man that elevated her to the national scene after she was photographed wearing a visor on which Sen. John McCain's name had been blacked out.

The gossip Web site TMZ snapped photos of the former Alaska governor vacationing in Hawaii earlier this week in which Palin is shown with a McCain campaign visor with black marker covering the ex-presidential candidate's name.

The Web site declared the hat a "frontal attack on Sen. John McCain," but Palin told Politico she was merely trying to "be incognito" while vacationing in Hawaii.

"I am so sorry if people took this silly incident the wrong way," Palin said in a statement to the Web site. "I adore John McCain, support him 100 percent and will do everything I can to support his reelection. As everyone knows, I was honored and proud to run with him. And Todd and I were with him in D.C. just a week ago. So much for trying to be incognito."
The four term Senator McCain is up for re-election next year.

26. Why Is She Vacationing Where Non-Real-American's Live?
or as Cokie Roberts proclaimed....I know Hawaii is a state, but it has the look of some sort of foreign, exotic place.

Also, Hawaii is a solid BLUE state - The Palins are really stepping out on a limb here, by placing their safety in the hands of a bunch of free-spirited, sun drenched liberals.

27. And after her father said this about why Sarah left Hawaii college
Did Sarah Palin leave Hawaii because there were too many Asians? In the New Yorker review of "Going Rogue," Sam Tanenhaus writes that Palin's father suggested as much to the reporters who wrote "Sarah From Alaska." The account contradicts the former Alaska governor's own description of her reasons for leaving college in Hawaii after only one semester.

Palin, though notoriously ill-traveled outside the United States, did journey far to the first of the four colleges she attended, in Hawaii. She and a friend who went with her lasted only one semester. "Hawaii was a little too perfect," Palin writes. "Perpetual sunshine isn't necessarily conducive to serious academics for eighteen-year-old Alaska girls." Perhaps not. But Palin's father, Chuck Heath, gave a different account to Conroy and Walshe. According to him, the presence of so many Asians and Pacific Islanders made her uncomfortable: "They were a minority type thing and it wasn't glamorous, so she came home." In any case, Palin reports that she much preferred her last stop, the University of Idaho, "because it was much like Alaska yet still 'Outside.' "
The passage was first flagged by Issac Chotiner at The New Republic, who wondered why it hadn't gotten any media attention.

30. After this and other petty, back-stabbing stunts, the question remains: why does McCain continue to
vociferacely defend this know-nothing?

She knew there would be cameras around. Wearing the hat is petty and childish, yet a very calculated move to again demean her running mate.

Yet, every time McCain is on TV, he defends her to the hilt. I don't get it.

P.S. Can't wait for her facebook missives on how irresponsible President Obama is for going to Hawaii during the Christmas holiday. She's such a hypocrite.

because I am fucking sick of the shit that passes for democracy here.

and the funny thing is, Palin would bring on a brain drain in this nation like Germany experienced in the 1920s and 1930s.

anyone who wants the demise of this nation should rally behind Palin because she's an example of the fucking problem, not the solution.
