Why are Arianna Huffington and Howard Dean going on Morning Joe |
|
which it basically Fox & Friends lite to criticize the President? It is one thing to go on Keith or Rachel but Morning Joe is the enemy camp as far as I'm concerned. Joe & Mika have been attacking the President and Healthcare reform from the day one. Now they are sitting their with a look of glee on their faces thanks to AH & HD.

1. Sorry, I despise Meeka and Joke but I am happy to see anyone... |
|
go anywhere to fight for real HCR. They are working for you and I so who cares what there venue is? I would go on Fox and Friends myself and beg if I thought it would help stop the White House from pushing through this Christmas present to the insurance industry.

9. I have no problem with going on Keith or Rachel |
|
but since Scarborough has been such a vocal critic of any reform it just seems like they are empowering the enemy.

for the President or the Democrats.

12. But don't you think he should chose his venues more wisely? |
|
Would you feel the same if he addressed a tea party rally?

5. I think both made their points clearly and coherently. And Dean specifically listed areas where he |
|
supports Obama. So he at least was not running down everything that Obama has done.
Look, Joe and Mika are going to be gleeful about everything that is negative with regard to Obama. Expect it. At least Dean offers some balance...which would you rather have?

I just have a problem with the venue. And Dean offered no balance, it was the usual Obama bashfest with Dean and Huffington joining in.

20. I didn't think Dean was bashing. He clearly doesn't like the direction the hcr bill has taken |
|
but who around here does? You saw the show so you heard him list the accomplishments Obama has achieved so far. Arianna is Arianna; she is ambitious and likes the limelight. But I take Dean very seriously. I listen to him because I trust him on this issue and he has been consistent throughout this whole debate. I certainly am not bashing Obama. I want him to succeed and get reelected in 2012. I just want him to do better on hcr and think he is too fixated on getting it tied up neatly by Christmas. I don't see how it matters whether it is done by Dec. 25th or by Jan. 25th...

21. I don't think Dean was bashing either. |
|
But when he said that he would support Obama in '12 but not vigorously, Scarborough loved it. All I'm saying is that show is typically an Obama/Democrats/Liberals bashfest and that Dean should choose his venues more wisely.

22. Well, Katrina vanden Heuvel and Chris Hayes from the Nation are often on. |
|

As is Lawrence O'Donnell and I've seen them sock it to Joe plenty of times, right there on HIS show! Just the other day, Chris Hayes rebutted Joe and Barnicle on the "bank crisis was because banks gave poor people mortgages they couldn't afford and it's all the fault of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac" meme the RW loves to argue. Joe quickly changed the subject! It was great to watch.
I've Eugene Robinson practically reduce Mika to tears over the black Harvard professor's arrest last summer. She was clearly distressed that he was calling her out, but he did it in such a sincere and dignified, but nonetheless tough, manner that she was crushed. The next morning she admitted to being upset over the criticisms that were coming on HER.
Oh, and the mother of all smack downs was Zbigniew Brzynski's masterful snark, calling Joe "stunningly superficial" over Joe's snide remarks about Clinton's peacemaking efforts in the Middle East.
These are moments I just cherish...

But Dean and Huffington weren't there to dispute Joe & Mika like the others but to support their anti-Obama narative.

One can start booking appearances, and that increases one's profile.... So it's all good.....for them.....although Howard Dean who was massacred by the media nonstop with the scream business really ought to know better.

Huffpo has become woo central with all the anti-vax, Deepak Chopra and homeopathic crap posted there lately.
