Project Title Quality of Life Study in Latina Breast Cancer Survivors

Study Summary In order to evaluate how cultural factors influence quality of life in breast cancer survivors, the researchers at Georgetown University want to learn more about the experiences of Latinas who have been diagnosed with breast cancer within the last five years.
Who Can Participate? You can join the Quality of Life Study in Latina Breast Cancer Survivors if you match ALL of these MAIN categories:
•You are a woman diagnosed with breast cancer more than 1 year ago but less than 5 years ago
•You consider yourself to be Latina
•You were living in the United States at the time of your breast cancer diagnosis
•You speak Spanish and/or English
The researcher may ask you additional questions to be sure that this study is a right fit for you.
What Does Participation Involve? If you choose to join this study you will be asked to complete a one-time interview over the phone that will last approximately 45 minutes. The researcher will call you to conduct the interview, which can be done in either Spanish or English. One hundred women are needed for this study.
