Have any who claim that DU is an "anti-Obama" site taken a look around the internets today?
Because if DU is just spewing hate for Obama, then what about the comments on Obama's facebook feed, Kos, liberal cable news and talk radio, Huffington, and every other site that allows comments on healthcare reform?

3. Daily Kos is much more restrained and balanced. Facebook is unrestricted and allows freepers to
comment, Huffington has and always will be anti-Obama (ever since her predections of his defeat, for failing to heed her advice, made her look foolish). As for the rest I tend to form my own opinions so I don't watch shows or listen radio stations that tell me how to think.

6. Show me the progressive site that could not be construed as "anti-Obama" today.
And those Facebook posts are critiques from the left.

Could it be that maybe the backlash Obama is getting today is a CONSEQUENCE of his own ACTIONS?

9. Daily Kos wouldn't be. There are some posts that could be construed as anti-Obama
but there are many others that balance that out.

10. Looking at their "most rec'ed" section, I respectfully disagree.
I don't know how anyone could say it's fundamentally different than DU.

4. Just because posters are critical of Obama here, does not mean
they are necessarily "anti-Obama" or "freepers" or Republicans.

If you are president of the United States, having critics is part of the job.

Blind loyalty is required for and by despots.

5. Obama has stated explicitly on NUMEROUS occasions that he wants to be held accountable.
In very plain language. I have two cites I could give off the top of my head, one of which is the Oprah special from last Sunday, "Christmas at the White House."

So those who stifle criticism of him are actually doing Obama a disservice. Shame on them!

11. Obama's facebook feed? I didn't even know there was such a thing.

Why, are there negative comments on it? Does anyone have a link to it?

I don't look original when I do it. It's generally all over the place. There are a few cheerleading post and than post ranging from sell-out to pleas.

Kind of like DU.

20. Well find me the mainstream/"conservative" Democratic blog that doesn't have similar comments
Once upon a time, those sites were considered "Democratic", before we had to make such distinctions from people in our own party who are against us.

21. Barack Obama's Facebook page?
The Senate has seemed to give away the store and would make health care in the US even more expensive. The only ones who seem to gain are the insurance companies. I'm opposed to 'reform' at any cost.

WHERE DID YOU GO??????????

we didn't vote for you to get a health care "reform" like this,.... change? More of the same...Corporate Shills feeding off the hopes and dreams of the people, I am not fooled!!!

If there isnt a "public option" or a" Medicare buy-in", there isn't a bill at all..It's time to wake up America. This bill in its present form is a "Corporate welfare for the insurance industry" Do you hear the insurance industry complaining aout this bill? This bill has been brought by the insurance industry and sold to them by the people who we have elected to serve OUR interest, the politicians..

No public option. No medicare buy-in. More of the same. I am so discouraged by the state of our leaders. This process has become a farce and I, for one, am really pissed off by the game playing. We need to establish term limits for Congress and the Senate to end this sad state.

27. That was the election feed from Obama for America
Basically it's the DNC Barack Obama feed. Like my Christmas Card had a return address for the White House but was paid for by the DNC.
