Public Option Or Bust! Supporters Check In!
Anything but is a joke.

We need healthcare reform, not health insurance deregulation.

Former DNC Chair Howard Dean knows it. Obama and the Senate appear not to. Let's clue them in.

5. Public Option is a compromise
And we might be looking at one if our representatives had gone in demanding single payer.

Rec to make up for all the unrecs you're getting.

9. Single payer is the only way.
Public Option (A REAL ONE) could be seen as a step that way.

OTherwise we're just going to get worse.

11. Yes, but...
how will this clue them in?

It is so apparent to me the right way to go here. I hate like hell to say this, but Obama should be, and no doubt will be, ashamed of himself, when he realizes how his administration has gone astray on this. Listening to callers on radio left, it's damn heartbreaking.

15. PO, or Medicare-buy-in, or bust.
But also some real reform (e.g., actual caps on out-of-pocket costs) or bust.

21. Single-Payer
I would take a strong and robust Public Option, though. Since that, at one time, was talked about (and even guaranteed by some of our DEM "leaders" to be in the final bill). Waiting.

22. single payer supporter checking in
Public Option for ALL would be an acceptable compromise but single payer is what I really want. If the other industrialized countries can do it so can we.

Only one that anyone can join is acceptable.
