The Health Care Reform Rumble
Edited on Thu Dec-17-09 06:44 PM by NJmaverick
In this corner:

President Obama

President Clinton

Economist Paul Krugman

In the other corner:

Howard Dean

Anyone I missed?

Edit to add: I am not counting current members of Congress as we know where 57 of the Senate stands and we don't know the final position of the House.

9.  Read my lips.
I don't care who is on Obama's side and who is not. This bill has not just one fatal flaw. It has multiple fatal flaws. It should be scrapped and they need to start over. This time with single payer on the table.

11. Anyone you missed? Yes, everyone not in the pocket of the Insurance industry
Pretty much the only people who are left that support this bill are ones that will make money or political clout supporting or sheep who can't see the forest for the trees.

And if you think they are done gutting this bill, you are sadly mistaken. Do you really think the insurance industry is going to take sick people onto their rolls, people who might cut into their profits? Before they are done the pre-existing conditions clause will be gone or capped so high no one can afford it.
