Down in Texas H.E.B gave a check for 250k for the AUSA, which helps soldiers in need.
He is the first soldier they interview.

1:09 in. Made me cry just to see him, and he is coming up for Christmas!

9. He said he went into the store to get a carpet cleaner (he has two young daughters)

And the news crew just walked up to him.

He was wanting to get their apt cleaned up before heading home. He is hoping to leave Sunday night for home. Long drive with two little ones in the car.

This will probably be the last time I see him for a long time as he is heading to Iraq early next year for 12-18 months (unless they change things again).

And thanks, I am proud of him, he has done well in the army and is doing his best to be a good dad.
