I wish we could take away the senate's health care
and then force them to use whatever the worst plan that they enact.
Maybe if it DIRECTLY affected them, they would show a little more concern.

1. Totally agree, Obama's first
move should have been to suspend thier healthcare until a bill passes and then they would be on the plan that they pass. Other wise the whole process is very, 'Let them eat cake.'

2. I'd really like to see 76 year old Chuck Grassley saunter down to
the insurance company to be told his HC would be @$5,000/ month.

3. I agree... and further, I think that we should control ALL of Congress' compensation
salary and perks combined.

Congress should NOT be able to vote themselves raises and create their own perks.

4. Online Petition???

RESOLVED, since it appears that the Congress of the United States of America is indebted to corporations more than they are to their constituents. And since it is also apparent that the U.S. Senate has been bribed and bought like a New Orleans French Quarter prostitute (I'm looking at YOU David Vitter!!!). And since it is clear that our federally elected representatives are clearly rotten to the core and cannot pass a healthcare bill that is affordable and which provides each American with the right of a public healthcare option, therefore we the undersigned demand that Congress rescind all healthcare insurance services for members of Congress forthwith, along with all remuneration for their "services" beyond $1000.00 per year, with all other expenses they may incur to be borne by said Representatives and Senators from their own pockets.

by taking away health 'care'.

6. Unfortunately, that rich-man's club wouldn't even notice.
Which is why they are so cavalier about it in the first place. Even the worst insurance, or no insurance at all, would be an all but unnoticeable blip to their fortunes.

They can't COMPREHEND what a thousand a month means to a middle-class income, much less to the poor.
