Gallup Has Obama Up by 12 Points
Edited on Fri Dec-18-09 05:29 PM by louis c
Well, well. Even when I disagree with President Obama (and I'm a self professed Obama cheerleader and proud of it) he still holds a substantial lead at Gallup. I disagree on his troop "surge" in Afghanistan and I disagree with the current health care bill. In an aside, isn't it curious that now that this bill is a "Republican" bill (mandates, no profit caps, no competition, no repeal of the ant-trust laws, taxes on the insured that hurts the union negotiated health care deals, etc.) that there still is no Republican votes. What's that tell you? They want this President to fail, even if he concedes to them on there basic issues. Amazing.

But, more to the point. Even as his base rebels, even as his agenda is in retreat, even as his political enemies are emboldened, Barack Obama still holds a substantial 12 point bulge in his popularity at Gallup.

All he has to do is return to his base. We will rally to him. His popularity is there. There is no need to compromise with those who want you to fail. We're on your side, Mr. President. Come home and feel the support. Your enemies want only to destroy you.

If the democrats pass and sign into law this toxic mess that the senate is working on
they will bring the republicans back from the grave.

14. So, we've decided that Gallup's numbers are valid now?
They weren't supposed to be reliable during the last election cycle, as I recall.
