I can't shake the feeling that these two posts are connected
Looking over the discussion front page, I see these two posts nearly next to one another

9. Well they are a progressive lobbying group
One would expect a lobbyist group would do the will of its donors whether it is one for Goldman Sachs or left baggers.

Check out the stimulus and research dollars flowing from the US Treasury...oh I guess you were thinking of the students.

I'd rather Cal get money than Goldman anyway.

However it is the political reality. If we had publicly financed campaigns the banking industry would be in jail and we would have had single payer right now.
