I have a question - since the Repukes are making the clerks read the entire new bill---
Are any of them even in the Senate Chamber listening to what is being read?

I ask because on Cspan 1, the screen says that the Minority leader McChinless is going to be giving a press conf any minute.

oh - and speaking of the asshole - here he is.....

6. my guess is it would be used against them in ads - like 'they don't want you to hear it'

that is my take - it was funny the time they did it in the committee, but perhaps in the Senate Chamber it would appear to be disrespectful of procedure

7. Probably right.
Dems are always afraid the repubs will call them names so they back down till the right gets their way. Same old story.

4. Fine by me. Let them filibuster, disrupt and obstruct to their heart's content
And then let them try to run on it next year. Look how brilliantly it worked for them in 2006 and 2008!

:applause:
