Has Joe Klein ever shat on teabaggers? (Please refresh my memory.)
The other day he said the Liberal Blogosphere was melting down, that those of us who were angry about the botch-up of HCR are "preening" and "ranting."
Chris Matthews averred that the same angry libs have probably never done any real work in politics, were nasty spoilers, etc. etc.
We've heard snidery from high places about Howard Dean, even, apparently, the White House itself.

I'm trying now to remember if any of these Washington Know It Alls have ever used such nasty personal putdown language to describe the lunatic right.
It seems to me that even the dumbest poop emanating from the far right (Like, for example, the poster that read "Keep your government hands off my Medicare)
is handled with kid gloves. (As it were.)

Am I right? Or am I just melting down while I preen and rant?

2. I'd like to know when he, Nate, Ezra, and rest of the MSM/blog pom-pom squad
Are going to take Ben Nelson to task for his recalcitrance over abortion. Here's a man who's an actual US Senator with an actual vote, threatening to scuttle the entire bill over abortion. Yet, oddly, they have nothing critical to say about him. He's sticking to his "principles". But liberals opposing the plan because it's a sham and a sellout? Why that's outrageous!! :eyes:

3. The Administration is deploying its shills to attack the base.
That's a sorry strategy, imo.

Kill the bill.

4. "I have neither the time nor legal background to figure out who's right."
That's all you need to know about the "journalist" Joe Klein.

5. Thank you all for responding.
I'm glad to know he's talked about racism in re teabaggers....but....it seems to me that racism is a howling great horror that any commentator worth anything should condemn...while the real substantive and knowledgeable disagreement from progressives about policy deserves a more reasoned, less condescending reaction.
