11. I spotted that, too. Then I noticed the "growing boy" that really needs a new suit.
That button is about to put someone's eye out!

4. Franken seems to be one of the good guys
The Republicans I'm surrounded by at work hate him. That says it all.

20. Just so we're on the same page...
I think he's a nice guy, real funny. And we're probably spot on, ideologically.
But we need some politicians that stand up for what they believe in and not cave in.
That would make him a great guy but not such a great politician.

23. Yeah the most junior Senator has to do all the heavy lifting.
I think the assholes that have been there for twenty years should step up to the plate and earn their golden retirement packages.

8. I never would've dreamed when I watched
him play Stewart Smalley that he would one day become one of our best Senators. Odd beginnings for such an admirable career.

10. He started writing for SNL back in 1975
Been lot of dues paying in the trenches before he worked his way to the senate. Pretty amazing trek.

12. He's a Renaissance man.
I doubt there's much he can't do if he sets his mind to it. I'm glad the people of Minnesota made the right choice; we're lucky to have him.

13. They are real. I've met them all. Franni's a sweetie.
Thomasin is a really sincere young woman. Joe's kinda shy. Al is really very serious, except when he's not, which is fairly frequently.

16. Swearing in ceremony, I think. Was that the White House?
Anyhow, the place I stole the picture from said something about the swearing in.

Bush learn to dress like Franni? Beautifully coordinated, nice colors for her, and no glazed-over look in her eyes.

19. In person, she is right there. Open, honest, interested.
Together, they make quite a couple. The affection they have for each other is quite obvious. Sorta like Barack and Michelle Obama. They're very likable people.
