WINNEBAGO, Neb. — Two little boys with major league dreams pulled off a rare feat Friday.
Aspen LaPointe, 11, and his brother D'Von, 9, each managed to get a hit off New York Yankees pitcher Joba Chamberlain.
Joba, former Nebraska All-American and now a World Series champion, made a surprise visit to the St. Augustine Mission School on the Winnebago reservation.
He passed out Christmas gifts, signed autographs and played a bit of Wiffle ball with the students.
