P. Obama, so you win the battle, but you could lose the war
Edited on Sun Dec-20-09 12:32 PM by warrior1
on getting yourself and many other democrats reelected.

I just don't get it. Flowery speeches will not bring out people again to vote for you. You have to remember these same people have never voted before. They don't or should they have to understand your nuance.

You know how to win elections but not how to govern.

1. I have a question for you.
If McCain was president, would there have been any health care bill to talk about?

3. And just imagine if Pol Pot were the president!
We would all be marching out into the countryside!

4. If, if, if, if, if,
McCain is not. So none of us really know.

If Gore was president, would Sept. 11, 2001 still happen? None of us really know.
If Gore was president, would the economy crash? None of us really know.
If, if, if.........

5. No, but things might get bad enough that independents would be begging for Progressive reforms.
It took Hoover's Great Depression to get us FDR!

6. Read what FDR did his first year in office and I think you will see the
difference. Read about his first 100 days and the New Deal here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Deal#The_First_Hundred_Days

11. According to Press the Meat this AM...
..Obama's support among Independents has dropped from 60% to 40% in the past few months.
You remember the Independents?
They voted for "CHANGE".

10. Well according to many here who wish to absolve Obama of responsibility for this trainwreck
the responsibility for this bill lies with the legislative, not at all with the executive. As if Obama had no influence on the process at all. Passing bills is Congress's job right?

So according to that logic, the answer to your question would be yes!

16. There ought to be a numbered list of "DU canned answers".
#12: "You'd rather have McCain for President?"

#13: "You'd rather have Palin for President"?

Etc.

2. No
but I don't expect anything from a McCain. I do expect more, because that's what Obama ran on.
