I've been reading her for the longest and I had never seen her asking for money. Now times seem to be hard for her and in order to continue her blog she is asking for any donations you may give her.
I believe she deserves it. If you can, donate. I don't know her and I don't even know her real name. But she is a power-hitter when it comes to progressive analysis and fighting the status quo:
