Our Republican representatives also take good care of Alaska Natives.

Whenever Don Young is in town, they trot all the subsidiary presidents from the Alaska Native Corporation I work for over to a cocktail party and he tells them he needs money to do what they want him to do. Our corporate CEO and President fly to D.C. all the time to meet with elected officials. The First Americans are just as savvy as the Second Americans.

My wife is Alaska Native. She pulled out of politics more than two decades ago because she was ashamed of what she saw.

Politics are politics. Power is power. People are people.

With accumulation of wealth, Alaska Natives have developed the same ruling class that Western cultures have.
