4. My favorite thing about this time of year.
I drive for a living so knowing the days are getting longer is always great. In about 50 days we have a tendancy to get a couple real warm spring like days in the valley I live in. It doesn't always happen and never lasts but it sure is nice.

9. It gets real hot but it's not humid. From July till the end of August steady
90's. 110 is the max but that is rare. That's what the rivers are for. Floating or boating is mandatory that time of year as far as I'm concerned.

11. ONLY TWO MONTHS of maximum heat? I wanna live there!
Here, it's hell from November through March, and sometimes well into April. And it expands year after year.
