The more I hear about the sweetheart deals and special provisions in the senate
health care reform bill the more pissed off I get. No taxes on insurers in Michigan but on insurers in every other state. These corrupt and self-serving jerks don't give a damn about you and I, it's all about them maintaining power.

1. It's the system and the 60 vote bullshit more than anything else.

2. Harry Reid is an ass.
He basically said any senator who didn't add a special provision for themselves was a fool and isn't doing their job.

3. they DO care if you answer their email please for help and support -- UNTIL
The White House knocks on their door with checkbook in hand -- and then all of a sudden you get flushed down the loo.

4. The only thing and I do mean THE ONLY THING they care about
as far as you and I are concerned is that we vote for them. As long as we keep doing that nothing is going to get done and there will be NO real change.

5. I have one simple request for these "esteemed" senators:
DO THE RIGHT THING FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

6. Term limits and Election funding reform is what has to be done.
otherwise nothing will ever change. They promise and promise the world , they get to DC and the greed kicks in and it becomes all about making themselves and their friends richer and gaining/staying in power. THEN they sit pretty knowing they have to practically slaughter a dozen kittens on the capitol steps before having to worry the slightest bit about their precious golden seats.

7. I have heard various arguments against term limits but in my mind
the benefits far outweigh the down sides.

8. I used to be against term limits
Being from MA I loved my senators. But I am of a different mind now. I think as long as they are focused on being re-elected and gaining more and more power they will not be focused on the good of the people.

9. If anyone doubts the old adage that power corrupts,
all they have to do is look at the political situation.
