1. Depends on whether the banks and the corporations want to cooperate.
Without that fact, it's hard to estimate when we'll "recover".

2. We are still bleeding jobs at the rate of half a million a month...
and some 40 states are running out of unemployment compensation money. No recession this...it is turning into a worse debacle than the 'great depression.'

This country, with it's do nothing leadership, is broken.

5. Please don't call it the Bush economy or recession...
Bush didn't do anything wrong. He was powerless over policy and over the actions of the Senate and the House which led to the disastrous occurrences of his 8 years in office. He was little more than a figure head. He wasn't a Senator or congressperson, and he didn't get a vote and therefore we can't blame him for things.

I know! This is news to me too. But apparently from what I've been reading lately this is the case. Who would have thought it.

6. Depends upon whom you are
talking about recovering. Seems like the people who caused the mess have recovered already.

7. BushCo had eight long years to fuggit up.

And he had a rethuglican Congress that was eager to do his bidding. Repairing all the
damage won't be easy. I don't look for any positive results in the immediate future.
