Let's face facts, if he had told the truth during the election he would have never been elected. If he had said I have no intentions of making immediate, substantive changes to any of of Bush's policies, I know a public option will never pass so I won't even push it, I will not prosecute anyone from the Bush administration, in fact I will direct the Justice Department to defend those in the previous administration, I will continue the war in Iraq, expand the war in Afghanistan and use our military technology in other countries like Yemen that will lead to civilian deaths, I won't make any substantive changes to help with climate change, basically I just want a better job for myself so I can provide a better life for my family.

We really shouldn't hold it against him, he's just trying for a better life for his kids than he had.
