Have I oversimplified this correctly? Corporate Congress planning on sending us all to the 21st Century poor house? Low security detention centers where indentured medical patients run phone banks for corporate interests, under the watchful axe of Xe?

Be sure to hit that "cough" button, comrade, in time to mask your illness. Did you take your Attitude Adjustor before your shift? Back to booking cruise line vacations!!

4. Really?
Because my interpretation of the truth is when something actually happens. Not speculation and doom, that's Glenn Beck's job.

5. This is happening, now. How are people with no jobs -- that used to provide health insurance --
expected to pay for health insurance?

It's a way to keep those HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANIES FROM LOSING THEIR CUSTOMERS WHO ARE NOW UNEMPLOYED!!!!!!!! :wtf:

6. They're not expected to pay for it.
If you don't have a job even right now you can apply for medicaid. Also if you don't have a job you will get subsidies.

11. From what part of the bill do you derive this "detention centers" shit from?
The mandate is a tax just like any other tax. We don't have millions of people working in said detention centers due to any of the taxes now. A TINY TINY TINY TINY TINY fraction of people who owe money to the IRS wind up in prison for it and they are the most egregious tax cheats and people who spend every waking moment trying to stop the IRS from collecting.

14. Owing money to the IRS does not equal prison time
If you can't grasp that very simple fact then you indeed have been watching way too much Glenn Beck.

16. I'm not trying to trick anybody
I've conceded that this isn't a great bill and I can understand why people would oppose it (although I personally do). But this prison nonsense is ridiculous fearmongering. If you are worried about owing money to the IRS then say you are worried about owing money to the IRS. That is a legitimate concern. Prison time is not.
