The public option 180 is proof that GOPers aren't the only ones who engage in revisionist history

How shamelessly arrogant of the President to say that he "never campaigned" on a public option when that was one of the major tenets of his campaign health care plan. Quite frankly, I'm a bit sick of the triangulation, and increasingly, flat out lying we're seeing from this administration. I guess I just expected a little more than seeing Clinton 2.0 from someone who campaigned on not being a Bush or a Clinton.

1. I voted for Obama over Hillary because he was supposed to be different
He wasnt supposed to be the DLC'er pro-corporate person I believed Hillary was.

I feel like a fool.

3. I know, but she never claimed to be anything else
If I had wanted a corporate tool I could have had the real thing instead of an imitation.

And it was pretty obvious from the get-go that Hillary Clinton and Obama were the only two Democratic candidates that corporate America approved of. When it came down to a choice between those two, I really lost interest.

Your choice is:

1) DLC politics in a pantsuit

or

2) DLC politics by someone doing a Spock impression

Oh, the choices!

9. I wish it were a 360. But it's a 180.
Let's hope he eventually comes full circle.

10. Pretty shocking, isn't it?
If bush had done 95% of what Obama has done this year, we'd all be outraged.

11. Watch out, they probably have their little "accomplishment list" floating around. With vague things
like "ending torture" (in words only) and "restoring America's image".

no one has ever been better at simultaneously sounding inspirational and really not saying anything.

No wonder so many feel betrayed while others claim "he never promised that!"
