60 to 40: A Powerful Divide That We Could Use
Edited on Wed Dec-23-09 12:52 AM by BeFree
Next year as the HCR is better known and the details start being applied we can use the 60 to 40 divide as a lever to get changed the bad parts of the bill.

We have the 40 staunch republicans who will do anything to defeat it, so all we need is 11 dems to make change happen.

It gives us a great deal of leverage, methinks.

1. it's a done deal so time to go for something better and get dems who WANT something better by
replacing those who don't, wherever possible.

2. Of course
I am thinking of a time frame in the next year. Of course, we will make it a campaign issue. But maybe in the next 6 months we can leverage some major change?
