Does anyone know the political history of this guy on Morning Joe |
|
I've seen him on ESPN in the past. I think his name is "Stephen A. Smith," but it's possible that I've got that wrong.
He just said that there will be a Republican landslide in the next round of elections, because the Democrats have taken the country to the "extreme left."
I think he may be right be right about a Republican shift, but not for the reason he states. For the life of me, I can't detect much of a leftward shift at all. Much less, a turn to the "extreme" left.
I wonder what this guy is smoking. Can someone explain his line of thinking?

2. I've seen him as a sport's commentator. |
|
I think he should stick with that group. I have also seen him on political venues, but I don't know what he offers in that except personal opinions. He's got as much right to be wrong as the rest of them.
I like him as a sport's person. He offers his unvarnished opinions. I don't always agree with him, but I believe he says what he thinks without couching it in some more easily digested form. This is his shtick, but I prefer his open and direct method to some others.
He probably answers to some MSM group, but I don't know who.

Didn't think of that. Damn it. I hate it when even personal opinions are corporate-owned. But they are.

6. I still don't know if SAS toes any line. |
|
There are probably some he knows he better not cross or else. He isn't as obsequious and afraid as a lot of the others.

... but not because of an "extreme left shift". I defy him to justify that characterization.
No, it will be the economy and the health care bill that sink this administration.

8. Stephen A. Smith is an idiot who wore out his welcome covering NBA. |
|
He's considered an idiot BY SPORTS FANS.
I don't know who decided he was needed, but I'm sure his typical line of bullshit is smiled on by the Morning Joke crowd.
