Geithner: Job growth should resume by springtime
Edited on Wed Dec-23-09 09:57 AM by lib2DaBone

WASHINGTON – Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner says he believes it's reasonable to expect "positive job growth" by spring and that people should have confidence about an improving economic climate.

In an interview broadcast on ABC's "Good Morning America," Geithner (GYT'-nur) also said he believes many banks around the country still have work ahead of them to regain the public's faith. He said, "They need to work very hard to shore it up" and said he wasn't certain that "all banks get it."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This hot dog I'm eating should be a steak, my Ford should be a Mercedes and it is a well known fact that pigs do fly.

"He isn't certain that all banks get it?" Why not.. isn't that his job? To make sure they DO get it?

How much are we paying this guy a year? Why is Bernake gettting elected to a second term?

Won't be long now before we're all drinking that Free Bubble-up and eating Rainbow Stew.

2. He has to put the best spin he can forward. This seems to be
pattern for any administration. "The Rosy Scenario".

Here in the Christmas Season, I suppose they want to
be more positive.

After a while, the American People grow weary and roll their
eyes heavenward. Remember last quarterly report--more optimistic
now they are admitting it was not as good as reported. The
Public is catching on.

6. Here's another Gem- Airlines Can Only Keep you On Runway 3 hours..
http://blogs.consumerreports.org/money/2009/12/transportation-department-fine-airlines-who-make-travelers-wait-in-planes-3-hours-or-more.html

Great...airlines can now only keep you locked up in a plane for 3 hours before they have to let you go. LOL Hallelujah

Have you ever sat on an overbooked, hot airplane with a crying baby for 3 hours? (oh..I almost forgot the over-flowing bathroom).

This is almost as good as our new health care bill that will give us a buy-in option in what...2016?

I'll be DEAD by 2016.

I guess my point is: This is not even realty anymore.. not even Kabuki Theater. Washington D.C. is really "Disneyland on the Potomac".

7. So the rule is worthless? It shouldn't have been made?
Because it's 3 hours instead of 3 minutes, therefore it's completely pointless?

12. Is that Chauncey Geithner?
"Yes. In the garden, growth has it seasons. First comes spring and summer, but then we have fall and winter. And then we get spring and summer again."
