Some of bin Laden's family living in Iran
Some of bin Laden's family living in Iran

TEHRAN, Dec. 23 (UPI) -- Members of Osama bin Laden's family have been living in a secret, high-security compound near Tehran, other family members revealed.

Family members said they learned last month that one of bin Laden's six wives, six of his children and 11 grandchildren were living in Iran after disappearing from his camp in Afghanistan about the time of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks on the United States, The Times of London reported Wednesday.

The family members have been barred from contact with the outside world while Iran has denied any of bin Laden's relatives were living in the Islamic republic, the London newspaper said.

Other members of the bin Laden family have begun appealing for the group to be allowed to leave Iran, describing them the "forgotten victims of 9/11."

1. They are such a HUGH family, I suspect you could find a few
members in almost any country you looked at. I know ssome were living in the US prior to 911, and I wouldn't be surprised if some of them are back now.

3. Bin Laden's father married 22 times and had 55 children.
There are, I have read, more than 600 members of the family. Hell, one of them was W's bussiness partner. They are everywhere.

6. Is the Times owned by Murdoch now?
I'm not sure, because most of what they've been printing lately is garbage, so I would view this article very critically.

7. Now is the time for Israel to attack the terrorist regime
in Tehran. Take out the reactors and leadership with tactical nukes and send Mossad assassination teams in to liquidate the bin Laden family.
