Has anyone written a tell-all book yet on how the Air Force was commandeered?
You all remembered how an Air Force jet managed to transport nuclear weapons and no one seemed to know how it happened?

Has anyone written a tell-all book yet about it? It would make an intriguing movie, especially since we all suspect the penguin did it.

1. All the flunkies who actually did the deed
died in tragic accidents within a few weeks.

I doubt anyone else will talk.

2. Do you have sources?
I know that two of the top Air Force people were removed.

8. Warpy,
that info was posted on a website I no longer read. I used to read it religiously, and being retired military, was very interested in that assertion (oddities, I think it was called), so I backtracked on all the links provided, and was able to disprove most of what was posted. I even contacted the poster with my findings and was basically blown off. I only visited that site once after that and found a similar post about Va Tech from the same author.

11. Actuall, I'm relying on the memory of several local news stories
that have since disappeared into the bowels of newspaper archives.

I don't bother with nutcase conspiracy sites, period.

However, the crew of that plane all died singly over the next several weeks. If I remember correctly, most died in traffic accidents.

5. 4 Colonels relieved of command, 5th Bomber Wing decertified
from handling nukes.

The widespread disregard for nuclear weapons safety standards by airmen at Minot and Barksdale Air Force bases led to the unprecedented “Bent Spear” incident in which six nuclear warheads were mistakenly loaded onto a B-52 and flown from North Dakota to Louisiana on Aug. 29-30, Air Force officials said Friday after an intensive six-week investigation.

The Air Force relieved the 5th Munitions Squadron commander at Minot immediately after the incident. On Friday, it announced that three more commanders have been sacked. They are:

** Col. Bruce Emig, wing commander, 5th Bomb Wing, Minot Air Force Base;

** Col. Cynthia M. Lundell, commander, 5th Maintenance Group, Minot Air Force Base; and

** Col. Todd C. Westhauser, commander, 2nd Operations Group, Barksdale Air Force Base.

Emig is also the installation commander at Minot.

........

Since Aug. 30, some 65 airmen of varying ranks — lieutenant colonel and below — have lost their certification in the personnel reliability program, which the Air Force uses to oversee the character of airmen who handle nuclear weapons, said Lt. Col. Ed Thomas, an Air Force spokesman. The large-scale nature of the disciplinary actions points to the widespread nature of the problem.

Lt. Gen Norman Seip, commander of 12th Air Force and Air Forces Southern Command, has been tasked by the head of Air Combat Command to review the investigation and look into whether any airmen involved in the incident should be charged with a crime under the Uniform Code of Military Justice, or if other disciplinary actions are warranted.

In addition, the 5th Bomb Wing has been decertified from handling Advanced Cruise Missiles or nuclear warheads and suspended from any tactical ferry operations, Newton said.

6. Wow. So they went deep into the "human personnel" department.
You think they finally figured out that they've been recruiting "Yes men" type in the Air Force of late?

12. Not difficult to see how they do it.
I've seen the process at the high school level. The people scoping out the kids are themselves ex-Air Force. They know what they're looking for. Get them while they're young and still impressionable.

13. Happens in churches also.
A lot is going on in reichwing churches that should scare people.Things like choosing and grooming candidates for goverment office to giving para military training to youth groups.
They really should be investigated.

I would not mind hearing the story of what really happened with those nukes myself.
