GOP attacks on health care were all for fun says Inhofe, but don't fool with my Christmas!
With Tuesday's agreement to hold the final senate vote on health care reform on Thursday morning, we now learn that, yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus:

Sen. Tom Coburn said his wife was in a lot better mood on Tuesday after learning that he is going to be at home for Christmas.

And Sen. Jim Inhofe may be able to see his grandchildren sing at church on Christmas Eve.
The two Republican senators from Oklahoma were facing major disruptions in their holiday traditions until an agreement was reached on Tuesday to hold a final vote on health reform legislation early Thursday morning. <...>

Inhofe, of Tulsa, said he had been among the Republicans who questioned the need to push the debate to its limit after Democrats secured the necessary votes on Saturday to approve the legislation.

"I can assure you the vast majority of the (Republican) conference was on my side saying we’ve had all the fun we’re going to have” debating the bill, Inhofe said.

So, the non-stop attack, obfuscations and lies about health care reform were just for fun, but now that the fun is going to fuck with their holiday plans, it's time to stop playing? What happened to their principled stand -- their duty to save the country from the socialist nightmare that will destroy our children and grandchildren's future?

2. ReTHUGs are anti-humanity scum.
I used to think there were exceptions, but have since decided not. Some, however, are definitely worse than others, and Inhofe is one of the worst.

3. Sorry To Incovenience You Elected Officials.....

We can't have your holidays inconvenienced. Heavens no!!!

How many people are not going to see their grandchildren sing at church on Christmas Eve - because they died from lack of healthcare?

How many wives or husbands are not going to be in a better mood on Chistmas because their significant other is not going to be there because they lost them to the lack of healthcare?

How many people are facing major disruptions to their holiday because they are worried how they will be able to pay their healthcare bills or not be able to afford their drugs or not be able to afford that operation because they were denied payment or dropped by their health insurance company.

All while these elected officials were having fun it was at the expense of these suffering Americans.

So go home and enjoy your holidays. Think only of yourselves and not your elected responsibilities.

But don't look in the mirror - because - you will be seeing the "Ghost of Hypocrisy - Past, Present and Future"

God Damn Them Everyone!!!!!!!

4. The Dems should pass a bill to lower GOP Senator's pay.
They obviously don't care about doing the job they were elected to do. Demote them.

7. We should demand our government keep up with a hectic,
tightly controlled production schedule. Make them fulfill their job obligations like assembly line manufacturing. Get the job done or get demoted. Inhofe sounds like the biggest whiner of them all.

6. Health Care professionals have to work on the holidays...
Most everyone else has to work on the holidays just to make ends meet.

But, nooooo, we can't get our government to work for us even when they are working and now we can't get the sorry asses to work at all, if it interferes with THEIR precious, golden, untouchable, privileged holidays.

They call the poor and middle class lazy bums all the time and have no problem keeping our troops away from their families for extended periods of time INCLUDING the holidays, when the truth is, they do nothing but gripe and complain about having to work 1 (one) holiday EVER.

Don't strain yourself bothering to do your fucking job, Inhofe. Wouldn't want to chip one of those manicured fingernails or get a paper cut.

this is just sick. They need to be exposed for what they are. The people that vote for these obstructionists need to see this and understand how they think.

11. Someone should insist that the bill be read by a dyslexic stammerer
The Republicans have had a lot of fun gumming up the works, insisting that bills and amendments be read in their entirety even though everyone has his own copy of what they're voting on. Wouldn't it be "playful" of, say, Sen. Al Franken (recently accused of being too serious) to keep Mr. Inhofe and Mr. Coburn from catching their last flights back to Oklahoma in time for Christmas by insisting on another reading of the bill in its entirety?

I'm sure all the Republicans would appreciate that!
