Uh Jane---You've gone a bit to far with this Grover partnership.
Here's what Paul Krugman wrote about your new Pal Grover:

Why do I want to see movement conservatism crushed? Partly because the movement is fundamentally undemocratic; its leaders don’t accept the legitimacy of opposition. Democrats will only become acceptable, declared Grover Norquist, the president of Americans for Tax Reform, once they “are comfortable in their minority status.” He added, “Any farmer will tell you that certain animals run around and are unpleasant, but when they’ve been fixed, then they are happy and sedate.”

http://select.nytimes.com/2006/11/10/opinion/10krugman.html?_r=1&hp

Jane--- we're all opposed to Rahm Emanuel and agree he should resign---but you didn't need to team with a Dirtbag like Grover Fucking Norquist to make your point.

1. Jane has an imperious streak in her, no question. You'd have to,
certainly, to hop into the hayloft with a fascist monster like Grover Norquist.

This is the kind of "journalism" or "politics" that is rightly labeled 'toxic.'

It's a repellent Dadaist stunt on the Buddha's back porch, with venom and petulance.

Christ Jane. Get a grip, woman.

by this announcement...after all, this guy is to the left of Pastor Warren.

3. Sounds like getting "fixed" wouldn't be a bad idea
for grover. Turn his venom around on him.

And Grover should be drowned in the nearest bathtub.

4. Impeachment talk in the FDL comments.... is it all payback for the primaries?
Obama, Biden, Pelosi, Byrd (too old), Clinton…

Nah...That’s too ambitious even for the die-hards.

8. Claiming we ALL want him to resign was false, though.
and a silly poll still is not fully reflective of the DU community as it only takes ionto account DUers on GD when the poll can be seen.

Statistically, even as a reflection of DU, it's an insignificant and inaccurate "poll".

10. Wow---so you think Rahm is doing a bang up job?
And you really think that most DUers support the guy.

You're living in a fantasy land.

11. Yes, I do think he's doing a superb job
and no, I don't think a majority of DUers support the guy, but certainly a larger percentage than reflected in a bullshit online poll.

but those guys just did stuff like falsify intelligence information and cover up the "friendly fire" death of Pat Tillman so it's all good.

At least Hamsher is addressing a policy issue.

15. Grover Norquist is 1000 times more dangerous than Rick Warren

Every right-wing talking point you've heard on talk radio and Fox News the past 15 years has come from the pen of Grover Norquist.

Comparing a worthless and powerless pissant like Warren to Grover Norquist is like comparing a common pick pocket with Al Capone.
