Constantly Fighting Yesterdays Battles, Never Working For Tomorrow's Victories |

Edited on Thu Dec-24-09 12:41 PM by KittyWampus
Constantly complaining about what has just happened or will happen in the short term. Never organizing or fighting for what you want.
That doesn't seem to be an effective course of action.
Have a great weekend folks.

conference, isn't it a bit premature to be calling the 'battle' over and won? Perhaps when you get back from your holiday, you can continue to work on what is - still - unfinished business.
Then you can move on to cheering for the dismantling of the public school system or whatever.

Honestly, I think people would prefer there was a pressure valve where people could let off steam over their disapointment in this legislation.
OFA was a disaster this summer, if you want my stories on that idiocy, I'd be more than happy to share them. The liberal groups were hamstrung under message control by the White House till the last month when the public option was obviously DOA and they told Rahm to shove it, and the White House stopped fighting in July.
If you really want my on the ground perspective what happened.
