I just shut up a right wing wacko-

He couldn't believe that HCR passed the Senate. Afterall - it's "Government Takeover of Healthcare" blah blah blah.

My reply - WHAT are you talking about? The Government didn't take over healthcare...what happened was that the insurance companies got millions of more customers...don't believe me? Check their stock - it's soaring.....So you and Limbo and Beck better stop calling it Government takeover of healthcare - that is the biggest bunch of crap - AND I am PISSED about it.

The wacko just stood there and scratched his head....

Don't get me wrong, I am glad that millions of more people will have access to healthcare, it's just the way they are going to get it that pisses me off.x(

1. I agree with you!
The Health Insurance companies will find new ways to screw over paying customers. Will there be extensive oversite then? That's my concern.

2. It's how it will be paid for that pisses ME off.
Considering that we will all be in THRALL even MORE
now that insurance will be mandated, and there is
NOTHING to stop costs from continuing to SKYROCKET.

3. exactly...
which is why I don't like being compared to teabaggers for not supporting this bill.

It's more of the same crap we've seen for decades, no matter who was in office.

4. You just stunned the wacko, they always recover
Agreed on this corporate welfare package disguised as HRC.

I'm not sure, but I think I may have one of those "cadillac plans" that are going to be taxed. To have that plan, I make a HUGE payment every month. If the plan I have is going to be taxed to further enrich the insurance companies, then I'm going to save myself some money and drop to the cheap plan.

5. Give them time...
Anyone who has insurance will be deemed to have a 'Cadillac Plan' and they will be taxed for it.

This SHIT Bill is nothing, but a giveaway to the Insurance Industry.

Oh, and those they claim it will help had better not get too comfortable with that help in the future, because they will be looking to cut that down and eliminate it.

The only thing that will be left is a law forcing everyone to buy overpriced worthless insurance from the Insurance Industry.

8. They don't even try to disguise the manipulation
They actually run commercials for KFC, Lipitor, Pizza Hut, and Nutrisystem back-to-back in a single commercial segment. Pharmaceutical companies advertise that you too can have a clearer complexion if you are willing to risk uncontrollable bloody diarrhea, homicidal urges, and a tendency toward public flatulence followed by uncontrollable laughter.

Anybody paying attention?

Political campaign advertising, packaged as public service messages supported by organization with names the equivalent of "The Whatever You Want to Believe Foundation", compete to program the simple-minded and confuse thinking persons.
