3. Christmas is not the biggest thing.

I never considered it a big holiday. Even in Christianity, Christmas is not an essential holiday. The big day from Christianity is Easter when Jesus (supposedly) rose from the dead. I am agnostic on whole Christianity thing.

Without Christ rising from the dead, Christianity does not mean much. I admire several of my Christian's faith but I just do not faith to believe in it.

I just use the 12 steps as my basis of morality because that does not require a belief in a deity. I believe that there is some type of universial conscious but we have not evolved to the level to make direct conscious contact with it. Therefore, religion is just a poor attempt at making conscious contact with the unknownable

Or God could be a figment of my imagination. If that is true, what is the big deal. I just do not care.

Therefore, this holiday has little meaning to me other than it is good day for family bonding.

13. I hate Christmas too. I like the family getting together part.

It's not often that we get together with family and have a big party. However, the purchasing bullshit sucks.

HOWEVER, since the Repugnicans have depleted our country of manufacturing jobs, the only thing keeping our country afloat is buying. It's terrifying, but it's true. We need money spend in order to not sink completely.

We've got to bring manufacturing back to this country and make it well again.
