is there any chance that, the public option, price negotiation, drug reimportation, and other goodies might be in the final bill that goes before Obama for his signature to make it law?

can we pressure them to do so?

2. All of those can be added, the success of them being final depends.
But I will say this, NOW is the time for the left to apply the pressure on their rep's. Call them, write them, visit them. Now is the time for activism.

3. Lasy night I watched PBS News JimLehrer.. When the HIR was
discussed, the bottome line according to their reporter
"the Liberals are just going to have to accept the bill".
He further explained that such a huge effort was made in
the Senate to get what they got. There are too many items
where if you make one tiny change you lose a Senator. What he
essentially said the dynamics are such that the Senate Bill
cannot be changed. The Liberals will have to accept it.

The reporter, I cannot remember his name but he explained
just what I have ssid to Judy Woodruff.

I will be curious to see what happens after all members have
to their Home Districts and States over the Holiday.
The Plan does not poll well.
