Woman fatally knifes thug in subway attack, then flees on F train

Several thugs tried to drag a woman off a Queens subway train Thursday night, but she fought back and fatally stabbed one of her tormenters before fleeing on another train, police said.

The large group of men - perhaps as many as eight - surrounded the woman outside a chicken restaurant above the 21st St.-Queensbridge station about 9 p.m., police and a witness said.

The harassment, which may have included unwanted sexual advances toward the woman and grabbing, continued as she entered the subway station.

The woman broke free from the men and frantically ran down to the platform and hopped on an F train, with the thugs right behind.

Notice that the guys still chased her, after she had knifed one of them. Very doubtful they would have chased her if she had a handgun. And guns are better when you have multiple attackers. Goetz was able to shoot all four of his attackers.

An AK-pattern rifle is rather large to carry around, very difficult to conceal.

No telling what would have happened to her had they managed to drag her off... likely a gang rape. The only remorse I feel is that she couldn't have taken a few others out as well.

22. A tragedy when

the wrong people are killed/right people are not. Yeah. I would think the world would be a better place if these attackers were no longer around. But that's just me, I tend to look down on people who attempt to gang up on defenseless women.

Hopefully in your neighborhood the exact opposite mentality reigns. The lives of violent criminals = sacrosanct. The lives of innocent women = expendable. Sounds heavenly.

Far too many males in today's society look upon women as prey.
