Do you really want a choice in the polling-booth? |

Imagine the abolishment of the electoral college. Imagine fair finance laws for parties and especially for election campaigns. Imagine smaller parties having a chance. Imagine more independents on the national scene.
What if the tea-bagger movement and the religious right were to secede from the Republican party? What if the liberal movement and the Blue Dogs were to secede from the Democratic Party? What if they could really establish themselves as permanent political players? Would you be okay with that?
What if these six parties were real opponents on election day? Imagine tea-baggers stealing republican voters and liberals stealing democratic voters. Would you be okay with that?
