Greenwald: Today's New York Times photos of Obama and Dean illustrate "Beltway cliche #1"
From a story today in the New York Times:

Greenwald tweets: "Beltway cliche #1 is and always has been: "The Left" is filled with angry, unSerious, purist, naive, ideological, non-pragmatic children."

3. When you're trying to control a population
You have to develop a 'language' to do that.
Images are part of that language.

4. Concern troll much. Seems like you are everywhere, posting on everything that is negative. Seems to
me you're spending lots of time trying to create negativity.

7. You're the troll, and a transparent one at that.
The only thing the OP is being negative about is the media.

Joe Klein, is that you?

10. You just demonstrated Greenwald's point.
by reacting to the photos and ignoring the context.

5. They may as well take Dean's most prominent photo.
It's funny he brings this up, I read this story earlier, noticed the Dean picture and had a good chuckle.

9. Huey Long used that "yeaaaah" very effectively
and he used it on an uneducated populace.

Howard Dean, on the other hand, has the respect of educated professionals who are not fooled by the media b.s. after 8 years of "media massage" (i.e. hand jobs) for corporate interests.

Dean has organizational tools in place, was the first to understand the power of "netroots."

So, honestly, that picture of Dean, to me, is a GREAT picture indicating someone who doesn't have his head up the ass of the pharmaceutical companies of America.

The ConservDems, on the other hand, have their heads so far up the ass of corporate fuckers they think they are they same body. they're not. the legislature is for the people, not corporations.

time for dems to hear that message loud and clear.

11. Okay, and posting these 2 pictures means... what? I clearly am missing something here
I need an explanation.

My sister-in-law put together a calendar by picking pictures of everyone, to give it the exact look she wanted. She did not use all pictures. She picked and chose. As a result, she gave every one of us the personality she sought to give us.

they might change their tune. There is strength in numbers.
