Abercrombie for governor bumper stickers, and a couple people even had a T-shirt with the same slogan....The current governor, Linda Lingle who is a Rethug, is term limited...Neil Abercrombie has been in the House for a while & I expect him to win this race..

Hawaii's 2 Democratic senators, Inouye & Akaka, truly have been great senators in my opinion, and are in their 80's & could retire soon..
Hannemann could probably win a senate seat in the future....Hawaii is a very blue state, think Reagan was the last Rethug to win it in a presidential election...

We've already got people poised to run for mayor when Mufi has to resign thanks to the "Frank Fasi" law. I was more shocked by Abercrombie's run for gov than if Mufi runs.

We just broke through the freezing mark here in New Hampshire. My feet are cold, but my heart is warm with memories of Hawaii.
