King is the Ranking Republican on the House Committee and he lives in NY City where media is available. Additionally, he runs to the cameras. He is what is known as an easy get. He will get lots of airtime on this.
Thompson it too busy investigating big time stuff like the White House Gate Crashers, who cares about a little terrorism.
