Oh no. Now they'll ban food stamps
DELTONA — A Deltona man who used a food stamp card to pay for ammonia and baking soda he said he needed to make bombs was located Wednesday night at a hospital, a sheriff’s spokesman said.

The man was put into Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach on Tuesday after his family got a court order to have him committed for mental health treatment, sheriff’s spokesman Brandon Haught said.

Deputies had assisted the family in getting the man to the hospital on Tuesday but didn’t realize that until Wednesday afternoon when the Department of Children & Families told investigators the name of the person who used the food stamp card. The state agency processes applications for food stamps, Medicaid and cash assistance.

The man’s name was not released to the public Wednesday.

2. You can't buy the ammonia in the US on food stamps
Everything but edibles is strictly forbidden.

Besides, every kid knows you need ammonia and iodine, not baking soda.

6. In Detroit, you can buy anything you want with food stamps
In inner city party stores. You can even sell them for 50 cents on the dollar.

3. Now they're gonna ban sales of ammonia and bleach. That can make a toxic gas.
They'll ban vinegar and baking soda, too, but that's because you can blow stuff up with them when they combine.

It would be simpler and easier to bring the troops home and wean us off ME oil.

4. What was he going to do, WASH them after he got done making them?
Mixing ammonia and baking soda makes a really good household cleaner. If you want to make bombs you make vinegar as seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIUTC3aYz7s&feature=related

15. Better ban money and credit cards, too, while they're at it.
Just think, without any currency, it would be very hard indeed to purchase items needed for terrorism. ;-)
