Why would TMZ want to Defame a Great American President

by now everyone here has seen the whole JFK Nude Swimmers debacle TMZ was circulating this morning.

My question is simple - WHY

Such a cowardly and despicable act and as to attempt to defame a man no longer living so as they can't even answer the allegation

Why would they shamelessly attack and attempt to defame a Great man that gave his life in the service of his country. Is this some sort the GOP attack on compassionate presidents who have done great things for this country.

What next FDR with "Puppy Dogs" because he introduced the New Era

Johnson looking less intelligent the Nixon because he pass Medicare

I mean exactly what do RATpubliCON presidents have to show for their terms in office

It also looks like TMZ acted in good faith, as did the person they bought the photo from. This was simply a hoax time bomb that took 40 years to go off.

I recall only a few years ago that there was "news" all day long to the point that it was sickening regarding the admission of a former secretary of JFKs that she had an affair with him.

Republicants, in general, want to revise history and Clintonize JFK so that Raygun emerges as the greatest president ever.

All I can say is thank goodness there are plent alive who know better--at least for now.

JFK is heavily rumored to have been a "ladies man". There are other words for that, as we've seen during Tiger Woods's recent troubles. But whatever. Even before this picture was discovered to have been of someone else, I wasn't all that surprised. Kennedy. Boat. Naked women. Yeah, and...?

But when they don't, it's a bunch of REALLY random fluff and some truly bizarre claims. It has nothing to do with JFK, per se - it could have been anyone. It just so happens that he's the easiest to pin that sort of claim on (for well known reasons). What bothers me is when other media sources run with stories from places like TMZ prematurely. If you've ever watched the TV show, you know their staff is hardly comprised of ace reporters.
