1. The shit has not yet hit the fan.
Claiming either continued support or a mass exodus is premature.

Claiming continued support while there is strong support is not premature. Claiming mass exodus is delusional.

18. You seem to not understand "polls"
Even I would voice my unwaivering support of all that is Obama to a national poll. And I have graded him with an A+ in polls. Of course a national poll would give him good marks from Democrats, and rightly so. But, Pro, it's all about the green line. Wake up!

28. I don't hate Obama. I busted ass to elect him by time, money, and effort
I bought and read his books, voted for him twice, argued on his behalf, urged patience, reminded folks of how the process functions, got fired up at his speeches, and cried at his Inauguration.

BUT that doesn't mean I'm required to sit silent for or support horrid or stupid policy.

This health care debacle is unacceptable.

Continuing to waste blood and treasuer on an impotent action in Afghanistan is stupid.

Refusal to go after Wall Street hammer and tongs is both, regardless of what Congress does, he needed/needs to do EVERYTHING he can on this. The people that are going to yell socialist-kenyan-muslim-commie would pull that crap no matter what but everyone else sees the high rollers getting the red carpet treatment and pukes a little in their mouths, at best.

44. Again, Independents are the worry. This chart makes me worry.
Obama will not win without the Independents.

You have said on other threads where you have posted this chart "Hogwash, they'll be back"

Obama will not win if ALL the democrats do not come out AND the independents vote for someone else.

The latest trending suggests the democrats will not have as high percentages as the pukes and indys who are planning to vote.

46. While the problem is still there I have to think its overrated
A great many of the indy's are just Republicans who wanted off the sinking ship or went teabagger. The drop in Republican ID didn't disappear or become liberals all the sudden. There is no reason to expect to have parity with the Republicans as far as percentage of independents. If we're at 34% and pukes are at 19% then if we split the indy's it would be an epic ass-whopping.

56. Um...Move the Goal Post From Where?
If you don't like the reality that Obama can't get elected solely by die-hard, lock-step Democrats, that's your problem. It doesn't change the fact. And it also doesn't change the fact that there are many, MANY Democrats who are unhappy with Obama...and there will be many more over the next three years if he continues kissing Republican ass and ignoring his promises.

You cheerleaders love to tell all the true progressives that Obama's only been in office for a year, and that it's too early to judge his presidency. And yet, you have no problem believing that, because one poll tells you that most Democrats still like him NOW, he can easily be reelected in 2012.

You might try taking off the pretty pink glasses and checking out the real world at some point.
