Former CIA agent / outed Pentagon propagandist on "Fox & Friends"...Obama "emboldened" terrorists
Fox guest: Obama ‘emboldened’ terrorists

What does 'alleged' mean, Fox analyst ponders

Fairness and balance were nowhere to be seen on Fox News Tuesday morning as Fox & Friends interviewed a member of the Pentagon's outed propaganda program about President Obama and international terrorism.

Wayne Simmons, a former CIA agent and member of the military analysts program, which the New York Times outed in 2008 as a Pentagon propaganda effort, told Fox's Brian Kilmeade that terrorists are "emboldened" to attack the United States and its allies because "they recognize ... that there will be no repercussions from the Obama administration."

"Nothing has changed, it's only getting worse since the coronation of the boy king 15 months ago," Simmons said. "It is ... not an accident that every third world despot -- every third world despot, from Venezuela through Cuba to North Korea, virtually anyone in the Middle East that decides they want to take a shot at the United States and our allies, is doing just that."

And in a bizarre turn, the show spent a few moments pondering the meaning of the word "alleged," after playing a clip of President Obama addressing the Christmas Day attempted attack.

2. Then Bush made them feel invincible
Bush must have made terrorists feel invincible since 911 happened so early in his Presidency.

5. "take a shot at the United States"?
North Korea, Cuba and Venezuela have been "shooting" at the U.S.??

If he means that literally, I must be much worse informed than I thought I was, b/c I don't recall a single news article saying that anything like this has happened.

If by "take a shot at the United States" he means criticize, is he suggesting that the U.S. retaliate militarily every time we are criticized?

Of course no one at Fox "News" wanted a clarification of his meaning.

And people actually get angry w/ our President for not threatening unspecified repercussions for equally unspecified "taking shots at the U.S."!

If this plays, some people's heads must contain scrambled eggs for brains. He might as well have said that the President has cooties for all the significance of his words.

Since I never watch Fox, I always thought that the vague accusations of rw-ers was something they incompletely remembered hearing on Fox. Now I know that these hate-filled clouds of meaningless words ARE what passes for analysis there. Y'know, whenever I think I've heard so much trash that I can no longer be surprised, something bubbles up from that ooze that still flabbergasts me.
