What a horrible frigging year this was

After The Phillies and then Obama won at the end of last year, it's all been downhill:

1. The lousy economy almost put my practice out of business. I'm still struggling horribly...
2. The re-rise of the Insane right wing which has been normalized AGAIN by the MSM. To quote St. Ronald of Rayguns, "You ain't seen nothing yet". He was right and Right, about that.
3. The resurgence of Cheney and his minions, who, IMO, is not, and has never been, cardiovascularly sick, nor requiring a wheelchair. I don't give a shit what ANYONE says. He's healthier than I am.
4. The arrogance of many on the street and on The Street has tripled. What people say and do to each other is just unbelievable and getting exponentially worse. I had a woman push past me on a narrow, descending escalator in a Borders Bookstore this afternoon (which prompted me to write this post) and I said to her "I hope someone's dying and you're trying to get to him, since you just risked both our lives by doing what you just did." SHe just stared at me as though I was nuts. I said,"Go ahead, you're the boss around here." She just continued, miffed. (N.B. If she'd knocked me down the escalator, I'd have gone berserk. She's lucky that I managed to hold on.
5. The Birthers.
6. The Yankees.
7. And everyone else who should be vilified for their words and deeds...

3. I agree, but next year isn't going to get better

Simply because it's a Congressional campaigning for re-election year. These campaigns have become permanent and never ending. Bleh! More lies, more over the top pseudo patriotism, more lies, and more accusations flying like flung shit and more lies.

Nothing will get done next year because everyone is afraid they might piss off the Republican base who will now get bussed to the Democratic election campaign speeches. It'll be even worse than the Town Halls last Summer.

11. I stopped rooting for the Eagles this year

after 50+ years of fandom b/c they signed Vick. Just disgraceful...
